I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. I have over 15 years of experience counseling individuals one-on-one, facilitating experiential education opportunities for groups, creating professional development curriculum for other clinicians, and mentoring clinicians one-on-one.

I have previously worked with individuals in settings including a community clinic, specialty eating disorders hospital, and college counseling center. I’ve also overseen a national program teaching clinicians how to facilitate CBT groups for school-aged youth. I frequently work with people curious about improving motivation, experiencing more joy, enhancing resiliency, challenging perfectionism, navigating life transitions, and exploring identity development. I also have expertise working with most general presenting issues including depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.

I truly love being a therapist. I value and appreciate the space that's created and maintained for a person to feel genuinely safe and supported in being honest, open, and curious. I'm honored to work to provide that environment, and have no other agenda other than to help support you feeling free and able to be yourself. Clients tell me they feel safe and supported in being authentic, in challenging themselves, and in feeling more able to truly validate themselves.
